Dolphins are quick, agile swimmers, often jumping impressively over the water surface. Underwater, they produce high-pitched whistling and clicking sounds to create echoes. That’s how they orient themselves and track down prey. Dolphins are very social and often seek physical contact with their families.

Fun fact: Dolphins enjoy surfing on the bow waves of ships.
